Vira Chairunnisa is an Associate at FKNK Law Firm. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, within 3.5 years and graduated cum laude, with a concentration in Economic and Technology Law. During her studies, she served as Executive Director of the Business Law Society Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia (“BLS FH UI”). At FKNK, Vira’s practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, State-Owned Enterprise restructuring, capital markets, and general corporate matters. Her work includes conducting legal due diligence, undertaking legal research and regulatory analysis, and preparing and reviewing transaction documents. Her notable engagements at FKNK include:

1. Assisting a state-owned asset management entity in the streamlining of State-Owned Enterprises, including the preparation of a masterplan and a framework for the streamlining process;

2. Advising a publicly listed company on information disclosure requirements and general corporate matters relating to public companies;

3. Preparing a legal study for a State-Owned Enterprise on the establishment of a collective investment contract mutual fund in the form of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) backed by gold; and

4. Acting for a financial group, as purchaser, in the acquisition of an insurance brokerage company in Indonesia, including legal due diligence and liaison with the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK).
