Fajar Budiman serves as a Senior Tax Advisor at FKNK Law Firm, bringing over two decades of experience in taxation across both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining FKNK, he founded Inatax.co.id, a reputable tax consulting firm known for delivering strategic and high-quality advisory services.

Fajar began his career at the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), where he served from 1999 to 2012. During his tenure, he developed a strong institutional understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and built an extensive professional network within the tax authority. His combined experience as a tax officer and consultant has equipped him with deep expertise in tax dispute resolution, tax rulings, tax holiday applications, tax refund processes, tax litigation, and representing clients before the Tax Court.

He is actively engaged as a speaker in both local and international seminars, a lecturer in taxation at Perbanas Institute, and a trainer in various professional workshops.

Fajar’s areas of specialization include International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, Tax Disputes, and Tax Litigation. He has advised and represented clients across a wide range of industries, including startups, fintech, multifinance, renewable energy, oil and gas, construction, mining, shipping, plantations, financial services, and the automotive sector.

He is an alumnus of Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara (STAN), Jakarta, and Padjadjaran University, Bandung. He obtained his Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Indonesia in 2011.

Fajar is a licensed tax consultant and registered tax attorney (Kuasa Hukum Pajak), and a member of the Ikatan Konsultan Pajak Indonesia (IKPI). He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Bahasa Indonesia.
