Ichsan Perwira Kurniagung is a Founding Partner of FKNK Law Firm. He obtained both his Bachelor of Law and Master of Law degrees from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia, majoring in Business Law. Before joining FKNK, he worked in one of the largest firms in Indonesia for more than five years. He has assisted with, and was actively involved in countless legal cases, transactions in capital markets, banking and transnational syndicated loans, mergers and acquisitions, high-profile anti-trust proceedings, commercial litigation and arbitration, and mega infrastructure deals in the scheme of Public-Private Partnership. With extensive experience in corporate law, Kurniagung also advises numerous companies engaging in financial technology and e-commerce business. He was acknowledged by multiple international and national awards, among others, in 2023 as “50 Up and Coming Future Legal Leaders” by Asian Business Law Journal, also in 2023 Notable Practitioner in Restructuring & Insolvency by IFLR 1000, and as one of Recommended Individual Lawyer by Hukumonline’s In House Counsel Award 2022.

Ichsan is a licensed advocate and a member and Secretary General of the Indonesia Advocates Association (AAI) in the South Jakarta Branch, and member and executive committee in the Indonesia Administrator and Receiver Association (IKAPI). He is also currently the Vice Chairman of Pangudi Luhur Alumni Association (IKA-PL). In 2018, Ichsan was chosen to represent Indonesia in the prestigious program International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), which was held by the Government of the United States on Developing Capital Markets. Under this program, Ichsan obtained training on US best practice in capital markets, regulatory and project preparation from representatives of US regulators, government agencies, professionals and investors in Washington D.C., New York, San Francisco, Charlotte and Chicago.
