Gaffur obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar. He has been practicing since 2014, handling various litigation and dispute resolution matters. His expertise includes mining and environmental disputes, administrative court procedures, civil law and criminal law. He is the head of the Makassar Branch of the PERADI Legal Aid Center, which provides free legal aid for people in need.
